Wedding Vows 

Traditional vs. Personal Vows Thinking of personalizing your wedding vows?  Remember, these are probably some of the most important words you have ever spoken!  Your wedding vows are the special oaths that are shared in front of your wedding guests announcing and proclaiming your commitment to one another. Vows can be traditional, depending on the bride or grooms religious beliefs, background and ancestry.  Some couples choose to be nontraditional by customizing and personalizing their declarations to one another.  Some vows are heard by all the guests with the assistanced of a/v microphones, etc. and some vows are made more personal.  I recently attended a wedding where the bride and groom whispered their personal vows to one another following the traditional oaths administered by the officiant.  Be sure to check with your wedding minister or officiant when considering writing or changing your voys.
